Live wisely, not blindly,
Take life’s challenges in stride.
Slow down the pace, embrace,
Never allowing fear to reside.

If I choose to escape,
Let a situation fade away,
Does it make me a forever coward?
Or perhaps, a repentant soul,
One who struggles to self-forgive,
If the same mistake is replayed.
There are moments of relief,
Yet, at times, I feel defeated.

Appreciating nature’s energy,
My feet grounded upon the earth.
Finding peace along the way,
Experiencing freedom, a sense of rebirth.
All that I possess,
Reflects my desires and dreams.
Who am I, you ask?
I am both who I am and am not, it seems.
